Emily Moses is an entrepreneur, Chief People Officer, and mother of two who understands firsthand how chasing the world’s definition of success can leave even the most driven people feeling empty. Through her work in HR and leadership, she has spent years alongside high achievers—leaders and professionals who look successful on the outside yet quietly wrestle with burnout and dissatisfaction.
Grounded by a faith-filled upbringing and shaped by her own journey of unlearning hustle-driven identity, Emily brings both professional insight and personal conviction to conversations about purpose, boundaries, and sustainable leadership. She lives in Middle Tennessee with her husband, Justin, and their two sons, and is passionate about helping others step out of striving and into a life defined by clarity, presence, and “enough.”
Emily Moses knows firsthand what it’s like to chase the world’s definition of success and to discover it leaves you empty. As an entrepreneur and HR executive, she’s spent years in the trenches with high achievers: the acclaimed leaders who fear saying no to any opportunity and the driven professionals who’ve climbed every rung only to wonder why they still feel hollow.
But Emily’s perspective isn’t just professional, it’s deeply personal, too. Raised by a family who modeled faith, resilience, and contentment in life’s big and small moments, she learned early what truly matters. Yet even with that foundation, she found herself caught in the relentless pursuit of “more” in adulthood. Alongside her husband, Justin, Emily has worked to chart a course for her life that often feels counter to the culture around her, guided by the truths she’s been raised to believe.
Today, Emily lives in Middle Tennessee with Justin and their two sons, Asher and Levi. She runs Leave Your Mark, her recruiting business, and serves as a Chief People Officer, but her greatest passion is helping others break free from the exhausting cycle of striving. Through her work coaching leaders, her daily conversations with working parents, and her own ongoing journey toward “enough,” Emily has become a voice for those who are bone-tired of performing and ready to start living for something more.
